From Nikolaos Lerakis‘ portfolio on the behance Network. This school project is a fictitious magazine on architecture. There is more nice work on his personal website. I really enjoy his design explorations. Have a look, and let me know what you think !
Hope you had fun during “the holiday season”… We had a looooot of fun, eating, drinking and launching our new sister web site http://www.mtldesigners.com
We have a lot of new cool new projects for 2009 that I’m sure you guys are going to love.
Back to work now! Enjoy this stop-motion from Sylvain Dumais
So I was at a couple of NYE parties and a good part of the hip-hop that was played was from the likes of: Young Jeezy, Lil Weezy, etc. (ie. the stuff that just doesn’t please me.)
I could not help but get all nostalgic and think of tracks that had great beats and amazing raps for this weeks installment. So here is Fu-Schnickens’ “Breakdown” which was released in ‘94. Point blankly it was Chip-Fu’s rap that sealed the deal. I hope you enjoy the track as I did choosing it.
Enjoy the weekend, Chivers!
P.S. For those that are curious this was the close second video.
Wow:
Montreal State Of Mind has opened the first e-store that features a variety of exclusive items created only by Montreal-based designers, including everything from fashion to design goods.
The new blog featuring Fafi, Michael La MJC (who has designed a lot cool stuff for Colette), So-Me, DJ Mehdi and Busy P. Check out what’s happening with them by clicking the image above.
! ! La prochaine fois (…)

Cut&Paste, an innovative design company, is looking for talented designers to represent their city in two fast-paced, single-elimination rounds in 3D and one round for Motion, each with a unique design theme and set time limit. The annual global tournament is set to zip across 16 cities this year, from February through June 2009, and this year for the first time ever, all of the winners (that’s all 48 of them) will be thrown together for the first-ever GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP. You win your city, and we’ll fly you to New York to go up against the world!
Cut&Paste is challenging designers from various backgrounds and nations across the map to dig deep and design their way into the spotlight. The annual Call for Competitors is now open, with two deadlines: January 14 for cities in North America, and February 6 for the Europe and Asia/Pacific regions.
