Movies are a distorted mirror. We use them to escape but also to share in the commonness of our experiences. We all have families, friends and partners, and they all drive us crazy in their own way—different but the same. Shadowboxing is about why we mess with a good thing. The movie will make you happy that you met these people, and happier that you’re not them.

This website is our open invitation into our process. In the coming months, we will post the new faces of cast and crew that populate this film; this is to give our audience a window into a process that is often remote or opaque.

Modeled after a certain prominent figure (let’s call him Barack O., no, wait, make it B. Obama), we are asking for donations of any size to help fund this film. A donation of any size—the suggested donation is $25—gives you a CREDIT in the film and the opportunity to be in the movie as an EXTRA (if you wish).
