Why? Because it was all effects and no substance. Basically it was like any major hollywood action movie: bad plot, bad actors, heavy on the effects (which weren’t THAT good honestly).

Whenever two robots fought each other, I couldn’t tell who’s who, because the robots were too busy, complicated and full of unnecessary circuitry popping from everywhere.

And finally, it really didn’t have much to do with the cartoons, which for a kid of the 80s like myself, it really disappointing.

Anyhow, like I said before, I hope they pick it up this time and produce something worth my time. Looking forward to it.
