November sorry, Movember has become the month of the moustache. Montrealers everywhere have gotten into the spirit and parties galore are popping up and everywhere you look there’s a few suspicious moustaches that make you wonder if it’s just a hipster fad or something more. The answer this month is the latter.

Movember an initiative of the Prostate Cancer Society of Canada asks men to grow out their Mo’s to raise money.

Montreal has Movember fever and no three gentlemen have contracted a more serious case than the Moustache Men DJs. Given their obvious inclination for upper lip hair, the DJ trio have done what they do best, make music & promote the Mo.

Barbershop Music, their newest mix CD is 33-tracks featuring blends of rare disco gems coupled with bouncy rap acapellas and of course the usual clever themed sound bites, in this case the moustache.

The CD is available to stream above and you can buy a physical copy or digital download on their website. All the money from the mix will be donated to Movember. You can also pick up a copy at Mo-centric boutique Three Monkeys.

The official Movember gala is taking place this Friday, Nov 27 @ Club Se7en (Cresent Street above st. Catherine)
