Raymonde April ÉQUIVALENCES exhibit at Les Territoires, among others
Montréal-based photographer Raymonde April’s work centres around notions of autobiography, narrative and document. In her large-scale streams of images, she devises a patient play on permutations, a visual prose dominated by the principles of recurrence and discontinuity. Not only that, she also happens to be a pretty great lady and a catalyst in my own development as a photographer (thanks again !). AND to top all of that off, the vernissage is tonight, so you haven’t missed out on the wine! So get yer Sorel’s on (Pajar’s, or whatever boots you’ve got) and head on down to Les Territoires, in the Belgo building, for 5 o’clock tonight.
