Alright so the last couple of weeks of been pretty amazing in terms of getting some mixtapes and great ones at that so we thought we would share some of the love.

The first is from Shay DaKiss who just played out last week for the: What up Gangstars? party with Omnikrom, DJ Klever, Arthur King and 2009 & 2010 MTL Redbull 3Style winner A-Rock.  Her mix: Thousands in Your Palms is described as a mix “..that fly girls would listen to 1993-1998.” and never has the description been so spot on.  Ladies you wanna jump on this and big up your girl (it is International Womens Week this week).  Guys you don’t want to sleep on this one.. hook it up to any girl you know and get some serious points!  Filled with loads of R&B and Hip Hop classics from: TLC, 2Pac, Biggie, Michael, SWV.. it goes on and on (in an amazing way!).  Get the mix here and check out the tracklisting after the jump.

The next mix was done for Aritizia (apparently a shopping staple for MTL girls while in Toronto.. according to Monica) but I say hit em up in Vancouver if you can so you shop and check out DJ U-Tern at Shine Nightclub while your at it.  The crate digger/taste maker/brooklyn radio host (check out his blog and show for more goodness) just did a mix for them titled: More Than Just Friends and in true U-Tern fashion doesn’t disappoint!!! The Electro/House/Indie mix contains some of your usual suspects ie. Chromeo, Tiga, SMD, Greenvelvet and more plus some unknown gems for good measure.  Look out for my personal favorites: Number 1 Girl, More than Friends & Sunshine on Planet Tokyo.  Check out and download the mix here.

Last but not least is DJ New Money’s mix straight off of his 18 day Olympic stint he took some time to hit up Calgary for a set with Robot Rock resident DJ Reece.  Recorded live this is a set that doesn’t disappoint (well it does in one way because it’s the last hour!!!).. Laying down the likes of: Cazals, Jamiroquai, Tiga, La Roux, Mousse T and much more.. in true New Money form he showed everyone at Habitat WhatsReallyGood! You can stream and download the mix below.
