Oyster season in Old Montreal

So we are two weeks into my favorite culinary time of the year (after the BBQ season of course)… The much anticipated Oyster season!  For all you anti-oyster people who cannot understand the gratification of slurping down such a luxurious delicacy, then i suggest you read on for the ultimate mind changing exprience!  You see, the oyster is a very complex but desirable species.  This ever famous hermaphrodite is made up of one heart, one stomach, one liver, two kidneys, and one blood circulatory system.  So not so different from us after all!  right…Well, just like everything else in ancient history, the Greeks and the Romans were there from the beginning, tempted by their splendor and obsessed by their pleasure.  And how could one resist?  The oyster has been known to be the food of love for quite some time.

It is a known fact that the loads of vitamins and minerals found in the oyster increases your health and therefore increases your sexual desire. It also carries dopamine, a neurotransmitter that effects cerebral activity and therfore influences our sexual desire. Another fabulous fashion story has hit our local city, giving us more reason to go out and shop!  American fashion label, John Bartlett has designed a mini-collection for Fall 2010 exclusively for Quebec mega-retailer La Maison Simons.  This special limited line entitled John Bartlett Collection Signature Simons features an outstanding grouping of military-inspired outerwear, slim suitings, sateen shirts and denim.  This collection was an extension of his latest line-up with stronger focus on the eclectic mix between “urban sexiness and rugged out-door detailing”.

4 octobre 2010 Jour mondial de l’architecture
